The club is honored to host a memorial shoot celebrating the life of an incredible young man who made a lasting impact on both the Montgomery County 4-H Shooting Team and MCFGC. His enthusiasm, dedication, and friendship touched so many, and this event is an opportunity for our community to come together in his memory.
We encourage all club members to attend. Whether you’re an experienced trapshooter or have never shot a round of trap, your presence would mean a great deal. Come help us honor and celebrate a life that was deeply cherished by our club and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
We hope to see you there as we remember him together.

Good morning all,
The 4H Shooting Sports team Live Auction Fundraiser will be on Saturday, May 16th. Doors open at 5pm and the live auction starts at 6pm. This is a great event that helps our kids in the county be able to learn responsibility and discipline through shooting sports. Kids are the future. All proceeds raised help purchase arrows, ammo, competition fees, and plenty more to keep this program running strong.
In past years, the club has paid for the member’s meal ticket (only the member, not your groups), we will be doing that this year as well.
There is no entry fee to attend the auction fundraiser, but if you want to eat, you have to purchase a meal ticket. I will be sitting at the front tables upon entrance to handle meal tickets. You will need to show your membership card since I do not know all 350 members personally.
Due to the weather forecast, the 4-H glow shoot scheduled for December 13th has been cancelled. We will let everyone know when this has been rescheduled.
Please note that the range will be closed all day on Saturday, August 30th for the annual 4H “Shoot For The Buckle” Trapshoot event.
This exciting event brings together 4H youth from across the state to compete and showcase their skills in trapshooting. It’s a great opportunity to support these young athletes as they aim for the buckle!
Concessions will be available, with proceeds helping cover ammo costs for the 4H trapshooting season.
We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy some food, and cheer on the kids as they take their best shots!
4H events scheduled for Saturday, 7/20 have moved to Saturday, 8/31. All ranges will be closed for that day to support 4H Pistol, Rifle, and Black Powder competitions.
