2024 Membership Renewals

2024 membership renewals start soon! Current members should refer to the email from our Club Secretary/Treasurer on 11/26/23 for payment instructions. Renewals start 12/1/2023 and are available until 1/27/2024.

New member applications will be accepted on Saturday, 2/3/2024, at the Clubhouse. The number of available openings will be based on how many current members do not renew by the due date.

SCSA December Match

Good morning,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

The December Pistol match will be Saturday, December 2nd. Some details below:

  • For the safety of our members and guests, we are shutting down the long rifle range during the match time.
  • The match will be 6 stages (make sure you bring plenty of drinks/snacks to replenish yourself throughout the match, Safety first!!)
  • Please arrive by 9:15am to help setup and sign-in. Sign-in with Whitney first thing, then you can help set up and prepare for the match.
  • Safety briefing is at 9:45am, match starts at 10am. (YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE SAFETY BRIEFING TO SHOOT IN THE MATCH)
  • Everyone must register through Practiscore with the link below. If you have not made a Practiscore account, it is easy to do and only asks a couple of questions. You will pay for the match online through Practiscore.
  • No one will be able to sign up for the match that morning and there will be no money taken.
  • Don’t forget you are able to enter preferred squad members. If you are with a group or if your guest is signing up for the match, please make sure they put your name in that box. We will try to accommodate these requests to the best of our abilities, but it is not guaranteed.

SCSA October Match

Saturday, October 7th will be our first official Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) match!!!!.

Match starts at 10 am. Please be there at 9:15 to check in and help set up. Safety briefing is at 9:45 am. (You must be present for the safety briefing to participate in the match) This match will be eight(8) stages. Four(4) squads with 12 guns per squad. 

Below is the link to register and pay for the match. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER THROUGH PRACTISCORE TO SHOOT THE MATCH. There will be no walk-ons or money taken that morning. Registration ends on October 6th at 8:30pm.

September Pistol Match

Another note to add, the range will be closed during the match except the Rimfire range.

Our next monthly pistol match will be on Saturday, September 2nd at 10am.

We will be using our new pistol bay. With that being said, there are some changes for this match and future matches. I have attached our match information sheet and a few key changes below.

-This will be a 6 stage match.
-Registration on Practiscore will end at 9pm on Friday, September 1st. If you are not pre-registered through practiscore, we cannot guarantee you a spot.
-There will be 3 squads.
-Again, you will need to be checked in and ready to go by 9:30am. Safety Briefing is at 9:45 sharp.

You must be present for the Safety Briefing to be eligible to shoot the match.

MCFGC 22 LR Sucker Match

Tuesday 8-15-23 @ 6:30 pm.

Get that 22 out of the closet and come out to shoot suckers at 50 and 100 yards. 2 classes so that everybody can participate. $ 10.00 per match with 50% payback and kids with parents under 16 years shoot free.

Classes-
Factory: any factory built 22 with a mfsrp of $1000.00 or less. No semi customs such as Cooper, Kimber or Anschutz. Must have a magazine or fill tube. Shot at fifty yards. Decision on factory legality up to match organizers.

Custom: custom built 22’s or benchrest style. 100 yards

ALL RIFLES: All rifles must use front and rear bags or front bipod. No one piece rests. ANY optics either class. Will shoot Dum-Dums and Blo Pops. Shooters will be provided a paper target for sight-in first. Hearing and eye protection required. NRA range safety regs will be followed. Come out and enjoy a little shooting with your friends.
