Rifle Match Centerfire Sucker Shoot June 16th

Please see below, the pistol range will remain open during this event.

We would like to invite all members and non-members to our Annual Centerfire Sucker Shoot Saturday June 16th at 10:00 AM. There will be a class for Factory Sporters, Factory Heavy Barrels, Semi-Autos and Open. Open Class will be shot at 200 yards and everything else at 100 yards. Factory Sporters must be fired off of a bipod or sandbags, all other classes may use any style 2-piece rest. Each class will attempt to hit 5-Blow Pops and then 5-Dum Dums. There will be a 5 minute sighter period before shooting at the suckers. Blow Pops will count as 1 point and Dum Dums will count as 2. Highest score in each class will win a Beautiful Handmade Wooden Plaque.

Pistol Match Announcement

We will have our monthly Steel Action Shoot on June 2nd at 1:00 PM at our club. Weather looks good.
Remember that you must be present at SAFETY BRIEFING (1:00 PM SHARP) to be eligible to shoot the match.
RANGE CLOSES AT 12:00 NOON to allow setup.
Bring at least 150 rounds of ammo.
Usually finished in 3 hrs.
Open to members and buddy with a member.

Note to new members: must have eye and ear protection on range and EMPTY weapon is in a case, pistol pouch or gun rug and is never presented until safety officer in your squad gives you range command to load and make ready.

These are fun matches for our members and their buddy’s.

Try to be at range by 12:30 to assist with setup and to sign in so we may begin promptly.

IR50/50 Rimfire Match Saturday

Saturday there will be a IR50/50 Rimfire match at the club.  The rifle range will be used for this and will close at 9:00.

The pistol range will still be available.

Rimfire Match Results

We had a great turnout for our Rimfire Match today! Great shooting and sportsmanship was displayed. Winners were as follows- Factory Sporter Class-Sydney Combs, Factory Bull Barrel Class-Sydney Combs, Semi-Auto Class-Michael Snedegar, Magnum Class-Jim Pierce and Open Class-Michael Snedegar.

 

Range Closed Saturday (4/21)

All,

We are having a work day at the range this Saturday the 21st. During this time the range will be closed. If anyone would like to come out and help it will start at 10:00.

Archery Shoot (4/22) CANCELLED

The archery shoot scheduled for 22 April is CANCELLED.  This match was originally scheduled for 8 April but did not occur due to circumstances beyond our control.  We regret that the rescheduled shoot must also be cancelled.  The next archery shoots are scheduled for 3 June and 5 August.
