Ranges Closed for Work Day – Sat, 11/29

ALL RANGES EXCEPT RIMFIRE CLOSED ON NOVEMBER 29 until 2:00 PM.

All steel shooters and anyone else who wants to help. We will have a work morning on November 29th at 9:00 AM.
We will be preparing range for winter and laser leveling all targets, moving and replacing some target blocks and installing new Amon strips on 2×4’s, cutting new 2×4’s, empty trash and other range maintenance as needed, no heavy work involved.

If you have a crow bar or sledge hammer, shovel, battery operated saw or drill, bring them with you. If we have adequate amount of workers show up, it should take about 3 hours to complete all work. We will be setting up Outer limits and Showdown in 5 and 6.

Come on out and work that Turkey off, guarantee you will feel better.

Pistol Bays 3,4,5,6 Closed 11/4 thru 11/6

Pistol bays 3,4,5, and 6 are closed today November 4th through November 6th for maintenance on the berms and bays. Please refrain from driving back to that part of the range.

The November Steel Challenge match will be Saturday, November 1st. Some details below:

-Registration is now open. Registration closes Friday, October 31st @ 12PM.
-If for some reason a member goes to register and pay and it says $20.00, please do not pay. Let me know that you are experiencing this issue and I will get it corrected for you.
-All shooters should check in upon arrival at the clubhouse. Any new shooter, meaning they have never shot a Steel Challenge match before, needs to be at the range by 9:25am. Please let staff know when you go to check in.
-MCFGC is a family, youth oriented, and respectful. We have many juniors, ladies and others that attend our matches. Please be respectful of them and your fellow shooters with your behavior and language when participating in our club activities.
-For the safety of our members and guests, the rifle range will remain closed during the match!

-The match will be 6 stages (make sure you bring plenty of drinks/snacks to replenish yourself throughout the match, Safety first!!

-Safety briefing is at 9:45am, match starts at 10am. (YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE SAFETY BRIEFING TO SHOOT IN THE MATCH)

2025 Match Schedule

There has been a small change to open/closed ranges during a match.

Starting now:
During any Rimfire Rifle match, Pistol Bays 3 & 4 will be closed. All other ranges/bays are open.

Due to flooding and weather conditions, the match tomorrow Saturday, April 5th is cancelled.

If you are signed up for the match, your registration will move to the May match. If you have scheduling conflicts for the May match, you may ask to withdraw on Practiscore.
